  8. This is version 1.0 - first available version - of program SeqGen. With
  9. this program, you can create and edit protein amino acid sequences,
  10. i.e. protein primary structures, and use them to generate peptide sequence
  11. files for commercial epitope mapping software. This is especially useful
  12. for users of very old MS-DOS based software.

  14. Features
  15. --------
  16.     * User can customize output to files and printer by using printf()-
  17.       style control codes. The offset between peptides can be set freely.
  18.     * Description of 20 amino acid names present in natural proteins
  19.       is included. Other amino acid tables can be defined.
  20.     * Switching between one-letter and three-letter abbreviations of
  21.       amino acids is very easy.
  22.     * GUI adapts (to some degree) to different font and window sizes.
  23.     * Uses default or specially defined public screen.
  24.     * Fully localized, catalog description and Finnish (suomi) catalog
  25.       included
  26.     * On-line AmigaGuide documentation by pressing "Help". Supports
  27.       MenuHelp, too.
